2005 Fall & 2006 Summer Tryouts
Two Teams -
NW Glacier 18U Gold Team & Glacier/Aphis 18U "A" TeamWhen: Aug. 20th, 21st, 27th & 28th Times: 9:00AM - 12PM; Lunch Break 12:00PM - 1:00PM; 1:00PM - 4:00PM Where: Heritage High School Fields - 7825 NE130th Ave
From Portland take I-205 North, Take Exit 30B, SR-500, stay straight, SR-500 will then curve left into 117th Ave. Turn Right on 76th St by the Fred Meyers. Turn left on 130th Ave. The school and fields are on the right..Bring: Glove, cleats, knee pads, bat and helmet if you have one.
If possible try to make all dates and times. If not available during these times and dates but would still like to tryout call to reschedule as early as possible. Both 18U teams ("A" & Gold) will be participating in the 2006 Colorado Fireworks Tournament which had over 300 college coaches attend the 2004 Tournament. Glacier NW and Aphis Softball Organization is geared to help players fine tune their softball skills, learn team work, have fun, compete at the most competitive level at each age group, and most importantly teach players how to market themselves at the collegiate level. All juniors in high school are signed up with the Collegiate Softball Connection, which is a recruiting agency that our team works through. Our program has graduated over 80 players that have moved onto playing college softball over the past 10 years. Most of these players received scholarships at the Division I level. We make softball skills videos for juniors to help in the process of marketing themselves. We would like to invite any interested players to tryout for one of our quality softball teams.
